We just need some time for the team to get the details sorted and then we can certainly share as much as we can," Jarrad wrote. "We understand the community is simply out of patience and frankly, I think understandably tired of words. Back in March, 343 Industries' community manager Brian Jarrard took to Reddit to assure players Season 2 news would be coming, but acknowledged the frustration at a lack of regular updates. When Halo Infinite ranks were reset, players' MMR remained the same, and there wasn't a whisper about it from anyone at 343.įor what it's worth, 343 seems aware of players' frustrations with both the perceived lack of content and the developers' communication thus far. A lengthy blog post from March went into great detail about the Halo Infinite ranked rework, but failed to mention any plans to adjust MMR, a feature that drastically affects how ranked matchmaking works and one that is often exploited by players. Sometimes it feels like 343 Industries is picking the wrong battles when it comes to communication. This should help placate players who are feeling less-than-enthusiastic about a long-awaited roadmap with both vague and conflicting information, and it'll give 343 Industries a chance to speak directly to the community. The stream is promising a deep dive into the Season 2 Battle Pass, rewards, events, game modes, and more, as well as more details on the roadmap itself. When it comes to shifting the optics around Halo Infinite and its content roadmap, the upcoming community livestream is a promising start. Confusingly, the roadmap promises a Forge open beta coming in September, but also has a Forge open beta listed under Season 3, which won't start until November 8. On February 1, after weeks of players asking for that roadmap, Joseph Staten promised an update "as soon as we can," citing a need for "more time to finalize our plans so what we share is something you can rely on." While the roadmap may be something players can technically rely on, the vagueness of much of its promised content feels a bit like we're being strung along.Ĭurrently, the Halo Infinite roadmap states Season 2 will run for another six months (which was never made clear until the moment the roadmap was released), that two "narrative events" are coming (which we only know will "place your personal Spartan in the center of an evolving Seasonal storyline"), that campaign network co-op is targeted for late August (and split-screen co-op is TBD), and quality of life improvements are on the way. These include the following: the Stasis Field, which forcibly drags objects and players into the center of its area-of-effect for several seconds the Shroud Screen, a bubble that players can't see in or out of (similar to a Counter-Strike smoke or the ability of a Valorant Controller) and the Quantum Translocator, which allows you to teleport between two points on the map several times. The roadmap 343 Industries provided on April 22 was initially set to release back in January. In addition to weapons, new equipment pieces have been found as well. Sound effects for several weapons potentially returning from past Halo games have been found as well, including audio for the SMG, Beam Rifle, and Infected Energy Sword. The new weapons that have leaked include the Lacerator, a powerful light machine gun-style weapon that deals high damage and appears to have the ability to EMP vehicles the Plasma Liquidator, a rapid-fire plasma weapon that quickly drains shields and a double barrel shotgun (for now, it doesn't have a name) that deals extremely high damage in very close range, but doesn't have reach beyond that and can only fire two rounds before needing to reload. The rear armour between the two heavy tanks are roughly the same effectiveness, but the E-100 rear slopes inward similar to a Tiger II design while the Maus remains all clunky. It should also be noted that shooting between the tracks is a very valid method to take out the E-100 as the armour is extremely weak there. The skirts can be destroyed after taking enough damage which reveals the very weak side armour of the tank. However larger rounds will still be able to penetrate the side skirts with ease, even chemical shells. This feature makes the E-100 able to defeat lesser rounds from low calibre guns. On the E-100, the side skirts are completely separated from the main hull and are 75 mm thick sloping, which adds up with the 120 mm flat side hull plate. On the Maus, the huge flat side skirts make up part of the side hull armour. The side armour on the E-100 is also slightly more effective than the Maus. The overall design of the tank makes it very resilient against bombs and artillery, to the point of surviving to bombs falling beneath it. The E-100 presents a more sloped frontal armour that is more effective than the Maus', the downside in the design is the lower front plate that is thinner, not to mention that it is a big target. Also, the side armour that is curved makes this Super Heavy tank a rare one. The big difference in design though is that the E-100 has a turret at the centre of the tank hull, making it unable to really cover the engines. The two super-heavy tanks also share the same turret design with the 128 mm primary armament along with a coaxial 75 mm and machine gun. The two share the same default camouflage scheme of the yellow Dunkelgelb and green olivgrün paint. The E-100 looks like a more sleek version of the Maus, or perhaps a more practical one. It was made available again in War Thunder's 5th Anniversary tournaments, then again in the War Thunder's 6th Birthday tournaments. It was first available in the " Teutonic Giants" tournament held from a time span of January to March 2016. The E-100 could only be obtained in the special tournament events, making its acquirement rare to the point of being one of the rarest tanks in the game. It was introduced in Update 1.53 "Firestorm" and has the distinction of being the second Rank V gift vehicle in-game, with the first being the La-174. With a battle rating of 8.0 (AB) and 7.7 (RB/SB). They push the limits of what people will tolerate until they complain, then they back off a little and wait for things to settle down. I’m glad you brought that up because this strategy is used constantly on the public. Thus I suggest that somebody creates a new forum section for such posts. Yet doing so would quickly go off-topic from this thread. It would be interesting if others would post links to the Privacy Policies of other AV vendors. I used Panda’s Privacy Policy merely as an illustration of a clearly defined Privacy Policy, in comparison to Avast’s contradicting and rather vague Privacy Policies. I believe that this post is on topic with regards to the CCleaner 5.45 issues which have upset many users. Second, go to section V under section 10 and note that Panda explicitly discloses to what third parties (just four third parties) they disclose any personal information to, and that Panda explicitly discloses as Warranties, the security requirements which said four parties must adhere to, in terms of protecting your personal data. See:įirst, notice that Panda’s document is a properly written legal notice which explicitly defines a legal agreement between Panda and the User. In comparison, let’s take a look at Panda Security’s Privacy Policy, which applies not only to the company itself, but also to all of their products. In other words, the unique GUID personally identifies your computer, if not you as well. Furthermore, Avast (the company) admits that they partner and share data with unknown third parties by using the randomly generated GUID for each Avast product software installation. Even though Avast purchased Piriform, Avast appears to be treating Piriform as a third party. Note that this document is titled “Avast (CCleaner) Privacy Policy”:ĭo you all see the obvious legal issue after comparing the above two privacy policies? Avast (the company) defines a privacy policy for the Company itself, yet separately defines a very different privacy policy for a specific Avast product (CCleaner). Note that this document is titled “Avast Privacy Policy”:Ĭ Privacy Policy. Compare the Avast (the company) web site’s Privacy Policy to the Avast (CCleaner) web site’s Privacy Policy.Ī Privacy Policy. Judging from the forum responses, it appears that consumer trust in Avast is going down the drain. Note that Internet Archive Wayback Machine searches reveal that the Privacy Policy was changed sometime between and to the current Privacy Policy. Then go back to the Privacy Policy web page and in particular, read sections 5 through 11. Yet section B about Choice suggests that it applies to all of their products and not just, for example, to only purchased products. Note that the free version of CCleaner 5.45 removed any Choice from within the product. In particular section B about Choice which gives an example with regards to a purchased product. Click on the “What Happens to Your Personal Data” link and read that. On the above Privacy Policy web page, there are two sections which are worth reading. The above statement about the data being completely anonymous directly contradicts what is stated in current Privacy Policy on the CCleaner web site. To quote, “In CCleaner v5.45 we extended existing analytics functionality in the software in order to gain greater insight into how our users interact with the software. Paul Piriform (real name unknown) states that no personal data is collected. The first post on the first page of that Piriform forum thread is worth reading. Of course, if I did intend to use Windows 10 for anything serious, I would back it up first. Makes me wonder if they (Piriform/Avast) know something I don’t, like perhaps those are the ones that will break the system if you remove them without Microsoft’s permission. It’s kind of interesting that CCleaner let me remove most things, including Xbox and MS Store, but not those five. That said, though, it seems to be working well so far with all of the “apps” removed via CCleaner except the five I mentioned. It’s all it’s good for, IMO, as long as it’s part of “WaaS.” Any Windows 10 I have installed (in a VM or otherwise) is for the purpose of testing or just to satisfy my own curiosity. I understand what you’re saying, and thanks for pointing that out on behalf of people who might not have understood where I am coming from: I wouldn’t use Windows 10 for anything serious, as it is not what I consider a serious operating system (aside, perhaps, from LTSB). My tweaking and testing has shown that newer and newer versions of Windows tend to become unserviceable if the things “they” don’t want removed are removed anyway. Everything from “harmony generators” to “quantization” can be seen here.Ģ. First thing first, this is the FL Studio Piano Roll toolbar and is your sequencing tool compartment. This shortcut will toggle the ghost notes feature on or off. You can take your selection and shift it left or right to change the rhythm, or to create new patterns. It’s especially useful when creating melodies. This shortcut will help you shift the selection left or right in the Piano roll. You can use this shortcut to quickly transpose your selection as you loop a section. Sometimes, while composing, you’ll need to experiment to find the right notes. Similar to transposing by octave, this shortcut will transpose your selection by semi-tone. This is a great way to experiment with your notes. You might use this shortcut to develop bass lines for your melodies, or vice versa. When working with MIDI notes, this shortcut will transpose your selection up or down by octave. This is a good shortcut to remember if you find yourself accidentally creating a new note in the Piano roll when attempting to left-click to remove a selection. Use the Ctrl + D shortcut to deselect your selection. When you’re finished editing your selection, you’ll need to deselect it. It’s also a quick way to loop a selection of notes without looping the region in the Playlist. Then you can make changes to the duplicated section using the original section as a reference. This is useful for copying notes to extend the region. Instead of pasting a selection at the marker, this shortcut will duplicate your selection to the right. Similar to the Paste command above, this is another essential shortcut. These shortcuts will probably be some of your most used when you need to quickly apply notes in the Piano roll. Use Ctrl + C to copy your selection to the clipboard, and use Ctrl + V to paste the selection at the marker. These shortcuts are basic – the same across the operating system – but they’re still essential. Other protectionsĪlways download Microsoft Office software from.
