Somebody else could use a skill like Laser Ray to hit both you and your SoP target to minimize damage to you and double their damage. There's also a cool synergy with the Last Rites skill (do heavy damage to yourself to revive another character), as you can basically offload the heavy damage to the SoP target (you damage yourself, therefor damage the Shackled target, which then heals you up again).ĭo be careful that you can tank the initial hit, as the healing will happen after deaths (you'll die before it can heal you) Mild Spoilers for mid-to-late game skills So the Shackles of Pain damage counts towards damage you inflict, so it heals you. The "life-steal" from points in Necro actually does some very interesting things. ![]() The Death Knight from Fextralife is a cool thing to take some inspiration from (note: fextralife builds are not the best builds out there, it's just the only one I know by name). Is there a way to know which skills scale off warfare and which scale off intelligence? Obv I have max/min these stats with my 2h so good to know which ones are which! Thanks! Please tell me! ThanksĮDIT - a comment below reminded me of a question that’s been bugging me re necro. I full accept I am probably just using these classes wrong. His basic attacks are so powerful - let alone ballistic shot, crippling shot, and his bag of elemental arrows etc - that it rarely seems to make sense to throw down an incarnate, wolf or totem. The only necro skill I use regularly is shackles of pain. In easier fights I try to use some necro to make things more interesting but I haven’t really found any synergies. Thick of the fight and onslaught are usually one-shots. In difficult fights he pumps out so much dmg even from basic attacks, and skills like battering ram, battle stomp and Phoenix dive are just so useful. But I haven’t really found a use for any necro skills on my 2h yet. The poly/rogue works really well with spread your wings, skin graft, invisibility etc. These seemed powerful but I wanted to mix it up so added some poly points to the rogue, summoning points to the ranger and necro points to the 2h. Playing on classic, I started out with a 2h melee damage dealer, a ranger, a rogue and an aero/hydro mage - dumping all my points into the stats that boost these pure builds.
